PassWords Fricken Passwords!

Ok Usually what I do is think of a blog and then google image search a nice wee pic, this time dilbert popped up it says it all, but ill continue anyway:

Every couple of months in my company you have to change your password, your main login and several others for various applications, you cant use the same password twice, and all the different applications accept a very different format.
As a result of this you have to think of 3-4 very different passwords that your gonna remember, every few months or so, i mean i cant even remember my mobile phone number, and iv had that 2 years!
This however does lead to a very secure system, one that even the employees can access!!

Free Cakes and Buns - Possibly the World's best Phrase

In our office at three o'clock every Friday we get an email around the office, stating simply this: "Buns on the windowsill." At this point, everyone jumps out of their cubicle and dives for the food, no one knows or even cares how the food gets there, they just know it does! For all I know it could be the work of magical little elves taking a break from their regular shoe cobbling.

Can you name one person (that isn't diabetic or something of the like, don't try to outsmart me!) that does not light up at the prospect of a free cake? I can't ever remember hearing anyone say, "hell no I don't like free cakes!"

However, as I write this the buns are 10 minutes late, and I'm starting to feel increasingly aprehensive, after all it's the only reason I didn't leave 2 hours ago!

Cooking for Brevitt

I was wondering where my extra traffic was coming from, then I found that most of the referring links are coming from another blog called Cooking for Brevitt. It's a nice wee read so have a look!

I think this is worthy of the main page...

The dude above wrote something in the comments in my South Park blog, which may I point out was about the cartoon and definately not a political statement, and I just thought it was main-page worthy:

Ulick said:

"'Marty' go to Joe Pesci, he's in the Provisional Italian-American
Liberator movement, he has a lethal weapon, use it wisely!

Your brand of free range anarcho-Unilateralism makes my 'stones' relaxed.

Meanwhile, keep up the fine tradition of blogging about the absolute pure
brown extremities of your mind and write a thread on you rubbing nipples with
Peter Griffin!

"...i hope when the other networks, such as Channel 4 get a hold of this
episode they have the stones to play the whole thing un-edited!..."

Grow some 'stones' of your own first!

Your FLAMBOYANT disrespect for other denominations sickens me, shame!

Hope someone reports you to the 'nation of Islam' and also highlights your putrid hatred of Rastafarianism! Change your ways join the Woman's Christian Temperance Union, something aligned to your personality anyway!

Then some dude chimed in:

mikhail said:
I agree! I think Marty should grow some 'stones' and accept the concerns of
other denominations. I hope his nipples burn for eternity for being so damn

All I can say is at least the second guy had the decency to make sense, I mean "Rastafarianism"? According to "Rastafarianism" is:

A religious and political movement originating in Jamaica in the 1930s that bases its doctrine on selections from the Bible and regards Ethiopia as the Promised Land and Haile Selassie as a messiah, with many members advocating nonviolence and rejecting materialism.

I don't see what the hell he is refering to. My response was this:

Marty said:

Ok two things to point out first, you guys seem to have a "FLAMBOYANT" tendancy for large words that I'm sure you had to use a thesaurus to find, and secondly, you seem to have unhealthy obsession with my nipples. I'd just like to point out that I have no problem with other races, religions and creeds, each to their own and all that, I was merely pointing out the changing attitudes within the media. Nearly everything offends someone, it's only when you segregate one thing and say it's out of bounds that the system stops working!

South Park Wimping Out!

This was not really the fault of the South Park creators, as I thought the episode showed how people bow to pressure of rediculous petty things, but the very fact that Comedy Central actually censored out the image enraged me! The first in the two-parter teased the network by censoring the image themselves (see screen shot), but in the second episode where they were actually going to show the image instead there is a 15-20 second gap in the cartoon stating only: "In this shot Mohammed hands a football helmet to family guy"; and "Comedy central refuses to broadcast an image of Muhammed on their network." However, a few seasons back in the "Super Friends" episode which sees Muhammed teaming up with Jesus, Budda and Moses, no one said a thing! All I can say about this is that I hope when the other networks such as Channel 4 get hold of this episode they have the stones to play the whole thing un-edited!

Official Worst Film of all time! - Things That Are Truly PANTS Part One

This is the first post in a little while so I'll make it short. This film is the very definition of the word PANTS! Of course I'm talking about "When Freddy Got Fingered"! Feel free to debate this in the comments but I challenge you to find a worse film. There are plenty of shit, crap and bad films, but this is truly PANTS!

I thank you for your time!

Ghosts - Films With Unestablished Rules - Part 5

Why is it that in films in which there are ghosts, for example Ghost Dad, Ghost and the TV series Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), although ghosts cannot touch anything at all, or at least not without concentrating very hard, they can always seem to walk around on the ground without even realising it!
Come on! Surely they should at least be floating or something? The characters don't even acknowledge that they have no trouble walking on the ground, even when they discover that they go through the walls!
